Daddy's Boy

Daniel and Paul have really become best buddies during my pregnancy. Most evenings, Paul is the one caring for him and playing with him. I think he deserves the "Greatest Dad" award these days. Last night, Paul was going to mow. Daniel decided it would be more fun to chase each other....Daniel on his gator and Paul on the mower. Once that excitement died down, then Daniel "helped" Paul cut tree limbs and haul them to the trailor.

Daddy chasing Daniel....

Daniel helping haul limbs. Yes, he loaded them "all by hims-self" onto his gator.

By the end of the night, he had run his battery down, so Paul had to push him back to the porch. It was priceless!

Easter Pics

Easter was quite a busy day at Brazos Meadows and with family. Daniel enjoyed an egg hunt, and time with family and friends.

And last, checking out the Easter eggs.

Where's Isaac?

So I don't have any pictures for today...however I have some great ones I need to upload soon...but Daniel said the funniest thing the other day and I had to share.

He was looking at my belly and peeking intently into my belly button (If you know Daniel, he can be very serious at times!) He held up his arms in frustration and said, "Where's Isaac?" He just didn't understand why he couldn't see him in there!

Catching Up

OK, so I have been reminded I haven't posted in a while :-). Not too much going on around our house right now....just hoping to survive this pregnancy and enjoy some of it. Thanks to all the friends and family that have prayed for us so far. God is good and will see us through this. We've got about 14 weeks left till we meet Isaac.

Daniel has been such a trooper through everything. He has missed so much time with me, but has continued to be so sweet and compassionate. He often hugs me and says, "Feel better." His prayers have also been so sweet lately. He even prays for Isaac some nights....or for Mama's belly. OK, here are some recent pics. Enjoy!

It's a ......

BOY!!!!!!!!

Yesterday we had our 20 week ultrasound, and we will be having another boy! I will now be outnumbered, but we are excited. Above is a picture of his profile. Below are 4 other pictures from the ultrasound - yes, one is the proof we are having a boy! His name will be Isaac Dean. Daniel has no idea what is going to hit in about 4 1/2 months, but I'm sure he will be a great big brother!

A Little Behind These Days....

The pregnancy has left me a little behind these days....cleaning house, cooking, and yes, blogging too. I am 18 weeks and starting to feel a little better, but the energy level isn't back yet. (However my appetite is making up for it!) Here are some recent happenings....
Merry Christmas!

We had a good Christmas and celebrated it at home this year since I wasn't up to going anywhere. We had a good time at both parent's houses and Daniel enjoyed all of his presents!

Radom picture of Daniel "cooking." He was making applesauce and cinnamon, and then feeding us.

Daniel turned 2 on January 9th. As I said, we're a little behind, so he finally had his party about a week ago. Nanny cooked a great chocolate cake and he enjoyed blowing out the candles all by his self this year!

Daniel's cousins, Kameryn and Kaylyn giving a little supprt to the blowing out of candles!

We will find out next Friday what baby #2 will be. We can't wait to find out and will share with everyone next Friday when we find out. Then hopefully we can come up with a name!
Last note....thanks to all of you who have been praying for Paul and me the last few months. We appreciate your prayers for us and the little one! You are such a blessing to our family.

There's a leg under the cast!

Needless to say, he is enjoying his freedom from the cast. He's getting better at walking again and does pretty good at running, too. He still drags his foot behind him when he runs, but time will fix that!

The cast has become a new addition to our toy box.

Daniel is showing off his "fixed" leg. He's quite proud of it!
