Fall Fun

Here are some pics from this past week....

Saturday night we loaded up the Expedition and took Daniel and Coralyn for their very first trick or treating along with baby Amelia and baby Isaac. After 2 houses (Mimi's & Ms. Theresa's) we decided to call it a day. (Yes, all of that work for 2 houses!)

On Saturday morning, we went to the Kaska Family Farm with some close friends from Fairfield, Uncle John & Aunt Sarah, and Coralyn (Daniel's buddy that we were watching for the day). We had lots of fun....but would probably not take three 2-year olds and two infants on a 6 acre corn maze again. Guess you learn! It really is a great place made especially for the little kids.

Wednesday was our church carnival. Daniel was his favorite super hero - LarryBoy. Isaac was a roaring dino! Aunt Sherri came and brought Kameryn and Kaylyn to have some fun, too!

Farming with Paw-Paw

This past Sunday night Daniel finally got to go out to the field with Nanny and Paw-Paw. He loves driving the tractors and has been watching the corn fields grow since Spring waiting for Harvest time. Here are some pics!

God In My Skin

A few weeks ago Daniel overheard Paul and I talking about God. This is where the conversation went....Daniel said, "He lives in my skin." "Who lives in your skin?" we aksed. "God lives in my skin." "How come?" Daniel replied..."Because he made me!"

Well, today Daniel got a couple of his animals and put them on the couch to sing to. (He is already quite the musician!) We asked him what he was singing to them and he replied, "About God living in my skin!"

(Yes, that is his mic he is singing into....and yes, he taps his leg, just like Daddy.)

Hospital Pics

Isaac is here! He was born Wednesday, June 24th and weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 20 in long. We are all doing great....just a little sleepy! Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers during this journey! Also, thanks for the calls and visits to the hospital (Sorry I wasn't able to have many visitors, the pain meds were giving me lots of headaches, spinning, and nausea, but we REALLY appreciate your calls and thoughts!)

We are all home and enjoying such a precious little blessing. Here are some pics from the hospital...

Daddy's Boy

Daniel and Paul have really become best buddies during my pregnancy. Most evenings, Paul is the one caring for him and playing with him. I think he deserves the "Greatest Dad" award these days. Last night, Paul was going to mow. Daniel decided it would be more fun to chase each other....Daniel on his gator and Paul on the mower. Once that excitement died down, then Daniel "helped" Paul cut tree limbs and haul them to the trailor.

Daniel helping haul limbs. Yes, he loaded them "all by hims-self" onto his gator.

By the end of the night, he had run his battery down, so Paul had to push him back to the porch. It was priceless!
